• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Secure authentication via Firebase Authentication

No system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and report any suspicious activity to us immediately.

6. Children's Privacy

How's The Date is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

7. Child Safety & CSAE Policy

How's The Date has a strict zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We are committed to maintaining a safe platform and complying with all applicable child safety laws.

Our Commitments

• Age restriction: How's The Date is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and above. Users found to be under 18 are immediately removed.
• Prohibited content: Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, or harms minors is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.
• In-app reporting: Users can report child safety concerns directly within the app. All reports are reviewed promptly and acted upon immediately.
• Authority reporting: We report confirmed CSAE content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant regional and national authorities.
• Proactive detection: We actively monitor for and remove any content that violates our child safety standards.

How to Report

If you encounter any content or behaviour that endangers a child, please report it immediately using the in-app report feature or contact us directly at prathamagg02@gmail.com. We take every report seriously and respond without delay.

8. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

How's The Date is operated from India. If you are accessing the app from outside India, please be aware that your data will be transferred to and processed in India. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
